Production Engineer – Banking Applications

Your role:

Define and execute operating procedures

  • Define and execute operating procedures according to objectives, means and constraints
  • Optimise, industrialise and mechanise processes and methods
  • Maintain and disseminate production instructions
  • Ensure technological monitoring of production methods and tools

Implement technical integration of applications

  • Work closely with Functional Consultants and development teams to implement applications
  • Manage the operation of applications, in particular by using middleware and other web and application servers
  • Plan processes (batch)
  • Produce documentation on the proper functioning of applications in production (scheduling, operating procedures, etc.)

Production control

  • Manage events (requests, incidents) and user support
  • Update applications
  • Carry out production monitoring
  • Track and coordinate technical changes and operations
  • Oversee the technical management of subcontractors (network, system, databases, etc.)

Your profile:

You hold a qualification of higher education in computer science/IT and have 7 to 10 years of experience in banking application software.

You are familiar with the following technology environments:

  • Linux / Windows / AS/400 & PowerSystem operating systems
  • Apache Tomcat, WAS, Wildfly (JBoss)

You have a good command of English.
