Business Solution Manager – Presales support

Your role:

Promotes the assigned ERI products and services by assisting the Sales Team (New Business and Account Management) in sales and pre-sales activities. In addition contributes to ERI products evolution by informing the Product Management Unit with relevant information from the Market (clients, prospects, partners, competitors).

  • Support to sales actions initiated by Sales Managers (SM) or Account Managers (AM)
  • Prepares and delivers OLYMPIC presentations, demonstrations, workshops & proofs of concept in collaboration with the sales force and other ERI resources
  • Prepares responses to RFI/RFP submitted by the Sales Team or AM
  • Supports sales team in preparing offers
  • Participates occasionally to workshops in collaboration with Product and Consulting Dept. Managers
  • Coordinates ERI internal resources (gap analysis, implementation & support) for optimised support to the Sales Process
  • Responsible as a team member for the demonstration environments (scripts, parameterization and other setup, quality, testing and coherency of business cases)
  • Reports on all activities according to ERI sales methodology, tools and techniques
  • Leads/participates in promotion campaign in collaboration with the SM/AM
  • Responsible with other BSM team members for the creation & maintenance of the “OLYMPIC Sales Kit”
  • Presentations (slides)
  • Product brochures
  • Contributes to the drafting of product sheets (Creation/Validation)
  • Occasionally contributes to and/or writes articles for newspapers and specialised magazines
  • Assists Sales Managers with the organization and participates in marketing campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions
  • Stays up to date with market trends (especially in areas like digitalization, SAAS, cloud).
  • Participates in meetings on the Product Evolution (informs the Product Management Unit of clients’ requirements, competitors, market best practices)
  • Participates in the tests of new versions of the product
  • Assists in monitoring of the competition

Your responsibility:

  • Prepares and delivers product presentations
  • Prepares and delivers responses to RFI/RFP
  • Responsible for the quality and consistency of product demonstrations and associated demo environments
  • Reports on BSM activities

Your profile:

  • University degree or equivalent technical school
  • Background in Financial Services application software provider and/or Banking/Securities Operations
  • At least 5 years of business and/or technical experience in a software or consultancy company, preferably in an international environment with strong banking, wealth management and securities management focus (OLYMPIC Banking System experience is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the banking, wealth management or securities/fund activities, including the use and deployment of systems
  • Comfortable with a range of banking and securities products as well as their processing and settlement (from a middle/back-office viewpoint)
  • Capability to mobilise resources and lead small presales projects
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent ability to quickly analyse key issues in relation to business requirements
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Comfortable in client facing activities
  • Active listening and creativity
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand key technology concepts and architectures
  • Keen on acquiring in-depth knowledge of financial products
  • Global knowledge of the banking business, and especially the internal processes involved in transaction execution and settlement
  • Expert knowledge of at least 2 business areas
  • Expert knowledge of the financial products in the business areas from front to back
  • Able to propose solutions to answer new “business issues”
  • English: excellent and fluent oral and written
  • Fluency in French
